I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have always been fascinated by people; our differences, our capabilities and the capacity we have to influence each other’s lives. This fascination led me to read Psychology at University, after which I worked in education for over 10 years. I supported young people with academic and daily life struggles, some with diagnosed learning differences and some without. Students would seek me out to talk to, so I started counselling training so that I could offer them a better service.
Since qualifying, I still work in higher education as a specialist mentor, but I also work as a counsellor, supporting the well-being of adults and adolescents in my community.
