I believe that genuine, trusting relationships can change lives. They can help someone rediscover their confidence, realise their potential, identify the changes they want to make, and enable the person to make them. This is what inspires my practice.
I offer you a space to talk where you will be heard and understood. You will not be rushed, judged for who you are, what you are saying, or how you are coping. Neither will you be told what to do. Together we will explore your concerns and try to understand them more clearly.
People come to counselling for many reasons, such as anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties and harmful behaviours. I will be guided by you as to what you’d like to focus on and for how long. Some people only want a few sessions to say things they’ve never said before, whereas others want to spend longer challenging their beliefs and understanding were they have come from. Together we can decide what is right for you.
